My Introduction:

I'm Gina, I'm 19, studying for BA Photography in my first year. I own an Nikon D300 and a Nikon F80, a 35mm-50mm wide angle lens, A 35mm-150mm zoom, and a F1.2 wide angle lens.
I'm currently working on a project of 'Everyday things' where I will be taking inspiration from Edward Weston, Armando Andrade Tudela, Garath McConell and Danny Treacy. An example of my photography can be found in the community layout.

Welcome to Photographers on Livejournal!

This is a community for anyone interested in photography, whether you are a photography/art student, an amature photographer, a professional or are just interested in photography as a hobby. This community allows you to not only share your work but also seek inspiraton, ask questions about equipment and different traditions and processes, share your ideas and receive feedback.

Feel free to join and start sharing your work, ideas, thoughts, preferences in style and questions related to photography. You can start by introducing yourself if you wish, or jump straight in with sharing your work-whatever suits you.

Please take note of the rules. I do not want advertising BUT if when sharing your work you would like to add a link where people can buy pieces, that is okay.
Be wary of the work you are posting. I do not want people to steal other people's images-for more control over that I do request that you make posts including examples of your work to be locked. I also want you to think about the subject matter of your images-if you think it requires a warning please attach it or receive a warning. If you are posting images in bulk, you can leave one images outside of the cut but any more need to be under a cut. For viewing ease all images should be resized.
Do not get angry or upset if you receive feedback you don't agree with, also do not be harsh and unhelpful in your feedback-this is a community for growth and inspiration. While I want everyone to offer criticism on work, this does not mean you must insult to author. Criticism is not negative, it is a thoughtful response to a piece of artwork-highlight negatives, but offer reasoning and suggestions for improvement. Be adult about it.

I will be working on a 3 strikes and you're out principle. If you break the rules and receive 3 warnings you will be banned, however, posting inappropriate material or stealing someone else's work is an instant ban.

Enjoy!
